Id like to let your members know about a great little product to enable you to carry your skis to/from the slopes easily but dont want to overstep your commercial guidelines. Please can your administrator tell me how to let the Snowheads world know about the trixski without going overboard?

Just tell us here, put your tin hat on and wait for incoming. Look on it like Dragon's Den - if you survive you might have a viable product.

1 How does it improve on the shoulder?

@Dave of the Marmottes,
If it enables your kids to carry their own skis I'm in.

@musher, or the wife / ski bunny

@Dave of the Marmottes, can't possibly carry them over my shoulder or against my jacket, sharp edges and clothing never ends well for me. I prefer the toe grip, one in each hand Happy

@PaulC1984, you'd have to buy a new jacket every time you scuffed it on your edges and left it in less than pristine condition. It would cost you a fortune, but think of all the barely used jackets the rest of could pick up for a bargain NehNeh

Is anyone really going to ski around all day with a little wheel hanging off the back of their boot?

@dp, you actually found a website from the name? I just found page after page of references to Jonny Moseley, Head skis and his MadTrix video game which suggests at least the name needs work.

Great Scott, this is obviously a hot topic! Yes it does improve on hands, it's not a decapitator or a machine gun system as per the youtube video (which I loved), I've never sliced my jacket open and have been using it for over 30 years. It is a carry strap for either your shoulder or across your body, there will be an "airline safety belt extension style" bit of webbing that velcros to the straps at each end so you can carry two sets of skis - or your kids' skis - and you just put it in your pocket when you ski. I think I'll keep my powder dry on this until we launch in August and I'll just post a link. Tin hat at the ready! For those interested it's called a "trixski" so check out www.trixski.com in August/September. The only reason I'm starting to market it is that wherever I go skiing people come up to me in the street or in the lift queue and say "wow that's amazing, where did you get it? I want one" Watch this space. I'm hoping the uncool amongst us will love it.....

@TrixieB, Excellent response Laughing

It seems light, compact and inexpensive; might catch on. Best of luck with it.

Oh great, ANOTHER helmet thread...

@TrixieB, If you can come up with a solution which I can carry 3 sets of mishmash sized skis, poles and still carry my board, let me know - last time, I had to lash the kids skis to my board with my belt and Escort them, while Localing the wifes.

The trixski is a bit more luxurious than the video above. It's purpose made for a start. Well Snoodles, can you let me think on this one? You could get the kids to carry their own skis but obviously that's not a goer or you'd be doing that already. Mmmmm maybe the extension is the best option. I'll have to test it out to see if it will carry this big commitment to be Hercules on skis. I'll get back to you.

AHSP ski straps are purpose made - they even have print saying "I (Heart) AHSP"
