Hanging out on the Stubai glacier

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Spent a week in Stubai with the Mountain Tracks guys (now owned by SCGB) at the beginning of April.

Weather early on was a bit questionable

So it was important to make sure you could be seen on the hill

Before the obligatory summit photo

Thanks to the tilt of the camera, it looks super steep

But it wasn't really ....

Although the rope did have to come out of the pack at some point, I suppose

And I even got to ski some fresh in the sunshine

Great trip, great team, only impaired by the hole I gouged in my ankle from a rubbing sock. Meh.

@zammo, looks a bit more challenging than the Forstau tour! Glad you had a great time, and hope the ankle has healed up now!

@Kooky, we all love Forstau, though! Ankle healed - see you next season, no doubt.

@zammo, you´d laugh, I have done the same damn thing to my foot Sad
Huge blister that then went infected, me thinking I was being super gnarly taped it all up and went biking and touring and now have missed 2 weeks training as it is the most painful thing, having to go to work in flip flops as I cant wear any shoes Crying or Very sad

The pain is real dude! Yep, see you next season you will be just across the road from us now!

Planning adventures already. And got my eye on either a Sako 85 or Sauer 101 .308 Toofy Grin
