Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Now that summer is coming to a close and the leaves are getting slightly crinkly its time to get ready to ride the slippy planks again.

A monthly pass I'm sure is the way to go for September ...
I'm just trying to work out the cost .. the discounts etc.

Then I just have to find the time to go along...
Plus, this season try not to end up with an injury that nearly put me out of action for the rest of the season.

@DrLawn, do you have Hemel membership? Your super-snowheadiness means you can get a substantial % off membership. Membership gives you 30% off the monthly pass, taking Septembers from 75 to 52.50. If you can get the membership sorted (if you don't have it already) and then book the lift pass today (before the start of September) theres another 10% off for early booking.
And thanks - you' ve just reminded me to book mine..

EDIT: I removed the actual % in case we're not supposed to disclose it on the public part of the forum. For super snowheads the number is here: http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=44644#1323570

I'll hopefully be there too so I'll say hi, blue salos and blueish jacket although Tubaski knows me. if I can I'll be there from 8am although its a bit of a drive and I'm lazy so getting up is hard. I'm not staying long due to a dodgy knee and I've found the snow a bit naff at the moment although that's me more than anything else as rob@rar was gliding through it with ease the other day so I'll be off 10/11ish.

Will be nice to meet new peeps.

I haven't seen any policy that states how helmets must be worn Toofy Grin , probably try one on each knee though otherwise you'll look silly.

Other than @Tubaski and rob@rar didn't bump into any other snowheads today so I hope, if you made it, you're having a good day. The snow was much much better, it was colder in there and it held together really well until I left at 11:30. Just a shame they turned the music down after the first hour, that was great having that so loud Very Happy

very quiet today at Hemel and we were able to set a few courses and rip some big radius turns. After a sticky snow start to the day the snow held up well

Not official as of yet but I am hearing that the SnowCentre will be moving their Friday night freestyle sessions to Thursday over the winter period. This will really help the snow conditions on the weekends. They have to move a lot of snow overnight after the session to remove all the features and the snowpack doesn't always refreeze well. Unless you are a friday night jibber good news ! snowHead snowHead

The Centre has removed 200 tons of old snow which went to the Ski Show and all replaced by fresh new stuff which was in great nick today. Fairly busy but the snow held up well...

Hemel has finally removed the restriction on wearing boots in the cafe yesterday and no more having to take boots off to go upstairs, hurrah !! And the snow was in good nick yesterday on a very very busy full capacity day.
