Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Salzburg transfer company - minibus for 11 to solden

Hiya

Anyone got a transfer company that maybe has vehicles suitable for a party of 11/12.

Would prefer a trasnfer in one vhicle to hiring a 9 seater and a car if poss but so far getting quoted 850 euro per leg (i.e. two taxis) so not worth it.

Much appreciated if you know a solution.

Fly to Innsbruck or Friedrichshafen instead? That's at least a 4 hour transfer by road, and could easily hit 5 hours if the traffic was bad.

Or hire an estate car, put all of the luggage and two drivers in it, and send the rest by train to the station in Ötztal and have a taxi waiting for them?

I have organised a few group trips to Austria and always use Four Seasons. They should be able to do one minibus for 11/12- depending on luggage. Their buses are a good size and they are not that expensive. The website is easy to use as well, so worth a look. www.tirol-taxi.at
