Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'm flying next Friday for a weekend and of course you have to check in in advance and enter all your passport details and book an over priced parking slot.

I go to the compare sites to work out which of the parking systems are the most agreeable and its going to cost me £68 to park a car for 2.5 days.
they need all my details from the Reg Number of the car to type year and colour along with home postcode and mobile number.
They never thought of "inside leg measurement" but perhaps they will next time.
But I'm bombarded with offers to
1) fast track me through security
2) airport lounge away from maddening crowd
3) shoe shine
4) cuddle from the hostesses
5) hotel for the night

Its all just clutter .. I just want to park the bleeding car!

Then I've got to check in ... Ryanair is a name I love and trust ever since I flew with them back in the 80's on a plabe with less than 40 seats and windmills on the wings.
You have to fill in all sorts of nonsense on line nowadays rather than just dodge the cow pats on the runway.
But then after filling in all this gobeligook and dodging all the offers of
Luggage
extra luggage
Hotel
Car hire
Parking
Insurance
Bunch of flowers for madame
Choose seat
& priority boarding!

Then it tells me a cant check in till tomorrow unless I purchase a chosen seat for £4 each!!!!

I'm fuming .. sorry I have to vent my spleen on snowheads... you all understand.

Where are you trying to park? We parked at Heathrow for a week for £55 last week. £68 sounds expensive for 3 days.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@DrLawn, if you are flying from Stansted, the fast track is well worth the small fee.

@sugarmoma666, I agree as well £68 is far too much to pay for three days parking, I think the lines around the box are probably gold leaf.

@Hells Bells, It could probably be worth it .. you queue with a better class of frequent Qer in that line, but I'm going to line up with plebs this time, and see how it it feels to be poor .. But I'll be £5 richer this time.

PS: I finally managed to to Check In today .... But only for the flight out .. I've got to wait till Wednesday to print the flight home (how do you spell big puffy sigh?)
