Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Where to eat brunch on the way from Munich to mayerhofen

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi everyone,

On march Saturday morning we land in Munich, rent a care and drive to zilertal for a week of skiing.

We are foodies and every meal is important Smile
Hoping to find a good place for breakfast/brunch on the way.

It can be right in the outskirt of Munich, or a little further along the way.

Mid range budget.

Thank everyone!

There are a few service stations along the way with decent food. The one at Holzkirchen is ok, as is the one at Irschenberg (the Dinzler, not McDonalds), as is the one at the Border at Kufstein and a few Km past the Austrian border there's a Rosenberger service station which is also good. Other than that you're going to have to get off the motorway and go hunting.

Or drive via Tegernsee & Achensee, it's a pretty drive and you can stop somewhere which takes your fancy.
It's not usually that much slower than the Autobahn.

At the airport there is a brewery Airbrau, so you can grab a meal before you

+1 for Airbrau at the airport. Indoors outdoors terrace in the central plaza is a good spot to unwind after the flight and is pretty much right next to the car hire desks. Also an Edeka supermarket right there too for snacks to keep you going on the drive.
