Snow Reports
FAQ
Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

If the stars align, I should be free to head out to the alps
this weekend (Thursday 19th - Monday 23rd)
to try and catch the tail-end of the recent snowfall.
Where would you go if you were me? Have trip to La Grave already planned for mid-late Feb so I'm just being greedy and trying to get a spot of skiing in before then.
No flights or anything booked yet, but looking to book ASAP.
This is my first post (long time lurker) so apologies if it's in the wrong section/be gentle.
Cheers
[In case relevant: I'm 28, skiied all my life and do as much off piste / adventurous skiing as I can find (for the last 10 years, I've been lucky enough to do mainly resort-accesed day tours (max 3 hour skin) with family/friends and a guide).]

Hi
@recz
, You may or may not be interested, but we are a group of four 40/50 somethings (one female, three males), heading out to Megeve on 19th until Tuesday 24th. We are not off-pisteurs though, I'm afraid. We are staying in Chalet Sylvana with Stanford Skiing. If you are interested and Stanford Skiing have places, you are very welcome to ski with us for a few days.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
