Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Christmas 2017 Trip - Advice needed

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi Guys ,

I have been put in charge of organising a trip for Christmas next for our family. We usually go fully catered chalet in France or hotel to Austria. We always DIY our trips. This time we will be a group of 4 couples ages early 30's/ 2 singles in their late 20's, plus grandparents plus 2 children ages 3 and 1. Looking for a place to compliment all at a reasonable price. Completely open to advice. Will be flying ex Dublin/Belfast. Our group will contain intermediates and beginners and grandparents who will NOT ski- they will snowshow/babysit etc whilst we are skiing. Open to options be it chalets/hotels air BNB etc... looking for a resort with charm and pretty.

Thanks

We ski les gets most Xmas but always self cater as we find it more flexible for a group so can't suggest catered. Only downside is it is a lowish village and the last few Xmas the snow has been woeful ( as was '16 ) but if you're looking for tradition, compact village, easy access from Geneva and huge ski terrain then LG could fit the bill (also very child/family friendly) we will be returning this Xmas regardless.!..... Good luck
Good luck

Fly in to Salzburg, stay somewhere with a large-ish village (for the non skiers) and very good piste management/snow cannon coverage. Schladming, Kitzbuhel, Saalbach, Zell am See. All of those apart from Saalbach have train stations too for days out for the non skiers if they fancy that.
