Anybody know anything about these? At 45 quid they seem too good to be true. Can anyone confirm if they are?

Probably as good, or bad, as any other fashion branded goggle. The only involvement Superdry would have had would be the logo on the strap.

Superdry is just a clothing marketing brand - based in Cheltenham or Gloucester?
The Japanese writing on their clothes is marketing guff - and is, I think, meaningless gobbledygook.
I dont think ski gear is their speciality but who can tell?
I use oakley goggles because of their background in glasses/sunnies etc but maybe one of the good lens companies supply superdry (athough I doubt it).

Probably as good as the 3 pairs I bought in Lidl in Holland last year for €8 each. They seemed to work fine today with my POC helmet and no logo on the strap for if you're a brand snob (I'm not). You can work out the markup yourself.

Not much closer to making a decision but thanks for the info chaps. Now i'm interested in Enkeeo goggles thanks to the link from @t44tomo. Can anyone champion these? £25! I've always paid £100+ for goggles in the past and a bit sick of it.

The Enkeeo ebay listings are full of images of their goggles photo-shopped onto model's faces. Hilarious!

I'd rather be in the cheapest Oakley or smith than anything I've never heard of. I've had cheap goggles in the past and then got a cheap second hasn't pair of Oakley crowbars and I now have I OXs with a few lenses that I got in the sales. Lesson I learnt is I should have got decent ones from day 1.

Took a gamble on some 25 quid enkeeo's. Best case I get a reasonable, cheap pair. Worst case case I have to revert to my old Anons. Will try to remember to post a review here in Feb!

Cheap goggles are ok until it snows - then you find out why they were cheap!!

@Ben E C, spend £50 on some Bolle or other similar specialised snowsports brand, not some high street tat-peddlers trying to muscle in on a sport they have no history or experience with by re-badging the cheapest rubbish they can source & adding a 50% mark-up.

There is now a big Superdry Snow shop in Val. I'm not sure who they are expecting to sell to... perhaps people who went skiing but forgot to pack their jackets and pants.
I like some of their casual clothing but the snow stuff seems one (small) grade up from Trespass/Dare2Be.

@bar shaker, I'm surprised they've chosen Val. Their clothes might be rubbish but they certainly know marketing. Would've thought they'd be more suited (with no offence and I accept I'm in grave risk of being flames here) to ADH/Val Thorens/La Plagne sort of places.

Be. |
We pitched up to a ski holiday once and my friend had packed "last years" salopettes for her Son, which he'd definately grown out of, so there is a market, albeit limited.

@RUGBY PETER, I did didn't I. Was in Val last week, Superdry well represented in it's own store and Intersports, but I don't recall anyone wearing any of their kit on the neige. On the tube this week though, I've noticed Superdry parkas are very popular, complete with a mahoosive arm patch saying "Superdry Rescue Department". Ffs...

They've got a niche which is probably a bit Jack Wills grown up a bit, dads trying to stay young, people who aren't fogeyish enough for Boden

Its Superdry Snow, a sub brand of the mothership! Looked busy when we were there last week 1500 young farmers in resort with a number riffling through the range. I saw a few people sporting it in the trendy bars. I'm now old enough to say its a young persons brand, not suited to anyone with middle aged spread, especially a massive kite. I have some of their clothes from yester year which were always good quality but come up small, doubt that will impact much on the goggles through.

yeah they launched at the end of 2014 - they seem to be on a big drive this year - they have sponsered Folie Douce Staff with their products. Good marketing again - if it is at Folie then surely it is fashionable and therefore one should go buy their products.

Most the people I know who wear superdry stuff should be considering Tena, which is ironic.

I suppose it depends if you fall for that stuff? A bit like the champagne bar at Folie Douce - always looks populated with wannabees.
Not like me, of course - hard core standing with the rest of the proles drinking an overpriced beer !!

I have a fairly strong suspicion that some of the attractive female wannabees at the Folie VIP bar are there on a tethered goat basis to bring all the boys to the yard. Obviously that's after the official dancers have used their milkshake.

It does actually say Superdry in Chinese / Japanese (my friends from there can read it). But I have a "windcheater" with a fleece lining, and despite looking chunky it's not particularly warm below 10C, I wouldn't dream of skiing in it. Decathlon for cheap goggles that probably work.
