Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Short trip 30 Dec - 3 Jan ideas

Hi,

I have a tip planned to Japan on 6th but I am desperate to get on the snow over Christmas/ New Year to warm up and test out my new skis. I can only go over the public holidays/ weekend so the earliest I can depart is late afternoon 30 December and I have to be back at work on 4th. If at all possible I would like to ski 31 Dec - 3 Jan. Any ideas? Any trips planned? Anyone up for coming along.

I am 40, advanced on piste but need to keep pushing for the off piste. Any ideas or opportunities to ski welcome.

Hi Rob,

I'm also planning a trip around those dates. I'm Switzerland (Zurich) based so can pretty much get anywhere in the Alps easily. So far I have a hotel booked in Grindelwald from 30 Dec to 4 Jan.

A little about me: I'm 34, can ski most things on piste. When it gets really steep, icy, mogully I'm not the quickest or most elegant, but can make my way down. I've started venturing off piste and definitely keen to do more.

If you're interested let me know. Would be cool to have a fellow Snowhead join. snowHead

I will also be in Grindelwald pretty much over that whole week though I think I will return to work on 3rd. Also Switzerland based (Bern) and happy to play off-piste.
