Morning,
Some mates are going to Sestriere early Feb but I don't like the look of it, I'd prefer Sauze and we can meet up with them. Went there when I was learning and had a good time.
As a result, I'm trying to organise a group of scab splitters. Anyone stayed anywhere good in sauzre that was on the cheap side? Don't mind what sort of accom catered/self-catered. I've done a brief search but can't find a similar topic in recent years.

don't know if it's cheap enough but the stella alpina is the best hotel in sauze. Think it's 67 a night half board.

I can vouch for holiday homes Italy, stayed in a really good value apartment in the centre of town for peanuts back in Jan'14. Excellent customer service both in advance of our stay and in-resort.

I stayed in this place in the centre of Souze a few years ago on a long weekend boys trip, it was cheap but truly nasty.
"Located in Sauze d’Oulx centre, hotel Assietta is 100 yards from the Via Lattea ski lift. It offers traditional light-wood decoration and cosy rooms with a wall-mounted flat-screen TV."

last year we went with a few mates for a long weekend and though we stayed in Chalet Chez Nous (repeat customers, love the place, not particularly cheap) they got an absolute bargain through an Air B&B flat. Made us think about it for this season...

Stayed in a self catering apartment in 2014
Villa Besson apartment on Via Monfol booked through holiday homes in italy
It was £650 for a 2 bedroom apartment for a week. A little old in decor and furnishings but was warm, clean and comfortable. 10 mins walk to clotes lift.

@halfhand, thats the one in my link above. Staying there again in January! I believe they've had a bit of a spruce up over the winter. Someone even mentioned flat screen televisions!
