Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Help a guy find the perfect ski's!

Yoo, struggling big time trying to find the perfect ski's at the moment!
I'm looking for a pair of twin tip's that are good offpiste but don't struggle when it comes to piste as well.
Going out for a full season in November so want to make sure I get the right pair for me.
The ones that caught my eye so far are Faction CT 2.0's. They're 102 underfoot - I've never gone this wide before, will this effect my skiing on piste at all?
If anyone has any recommendations that'd be sweet!
Thanks in advance!

Yes, undoubtedly. How much they affect your skiing on piste, and whether this is a bad effect or not will be determined by how you ski them and what your expectations are when skiing on piste.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Because there is no such thing!
If you are out for a season, buy something 2nd hand, use them a few days and sell them on if you don't like them. Have more than one pair.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I'm a fairly competent skier, so I feel I'll be able to manage them, but just want to be certain before I spend the money.
Also been given a pair of K2 sights (2015) to use for the season which are 85 underfoot so will have another pair.
Haha yeah I know, it's a nice thought to find the perfect pair though!
Being an intermediate-experienced skier how would you say managing 102mm would be?
Cheers Rob, can't wait to get out there!

@samtm96, not familiar with either of the skis you'll have, but one sounds more piste-focused, one sounds more off-piste (and park) focused. Sounds like you're all set for whatever skiing you'll do.

Shouldn't do massively. I stepped up to Cham 97's without a great deal of affect. It's not like the old days.
