Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Social Media is showing snow currently, but is it pouring down with rain in the village?

Lots of rain in the village the last couple of days. Stopped now though and freezing level dropping to the village tonight. Forecast is for a little snow tonight, then cold and dry the next couple of days. Lots of snow up high, 76cm in the last 48 hours reported at pig alley. 7th heaven was skiing great today - shin deep powder. Below mid station runs with snow were slushy, and a lot of the cattracks super hard packed.

I hear the snow was pretty deep up high though. We were there just before this storm hit, over MLK weekend. Some pics and belated report at

Was very happy with lack of crowds though - quite a surprise!

A good first day yesterday, with excellent conditions and visibility. The snow held up right down to the base, only becoming slushy (but eminently skiable) on the lower pitches. Hero snow in the Blackcomb Glacier.

25 centimetres overnight: it was snowing in the village. While that sounds good, I'm not optimistic about the top lifts opening very quickly, and if they do, the visibility could be dreadful. I'm contemplating large Saturday crowds all squashed into mid-mountain.

@Acacia,
Amazingly it is/was quite amazing snowHead
No lines (wierdly), decent visability (mostly), and great powder.

Quite tired now! Madeye-Smiley

@stuarth,

It was, wasn't it. And Sunday has been pretty good also, with clear skies and sunshine.

Another day of most definitely non-sucky snow snowHead
(possibly verging on rain in the village though, so not sure this would have suited those who also need snow to the bottom wink)

Anyone know if Whistler are offering a Spring season pass this year? We've typically got one as an add-on to our Edge Cards but this year I've heard nothing.

We'll be going to Bachelor a lot more instead if we have to pay even moderate ticket prices to ski in Spring up there.

159 canuck bucks is ok. We'll get at least 6 days on it hopefully

The closing weekend was pretty killer. Great skiing and weather.

And there were bears.

It's a place that is simply hard to beat.
