Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Esprit Christmas sale

Just spotted this via my facebook feed, but there look like some surprisingly good deals on offer for families included 2 adult and 2 children (starting from £2199) for Christmas week itself.

We are already booked for Easter but in case this is any good for other snowheads.

I don't recall seeing this good a deal for last Christmas? Did I miss them or were they not available?

I'm finding on the Crystal site, looking for early January, prices are in the region of £100 less than they were this time last year (which is a big chunk for a solo traveller at quiet time prices).

I don't know if they are finding sales down and are discounting desperately already, or if there is some other factor(s) involved.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

They are doing an Olympic deal whereby every booking gets a £100 reduction (think it expires today). That's £100 per booking not per person. They offer the same reduction for black Friday later in the year.

You can get some absolute bargains if you are a solo traveller. Cheapest I saw yesterday was a week in early January for about £220 - although it was for Bulgaria.

Where Xmas Day sits in the week has combined with snow fears (last two years not great in many resorts in December) to mean generally lower prices with many Tour Operators for Christmas week. My guess is that as we head in to September a few more offers will appear for both Xmas and New Year.
