Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi, newbie here
Does anyone know of this brand.
Am contemplating a board and bindings deal as they seem like pretty good value butI'm aware that you get what you pay for.
Any advice most welcome.
Thanks

Hmm... Never heard of these and my internal alert systems just lit up like a christmas tree when I tried to look at the website... beware...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Newbie person - my advice would be to earn some reputation here or we will assume you're a shill account trying to increase the SEO rating of a product you've some interest in.

If you actually really want to buy a snowboard, then:
- Avoid generic Chinese stuff like the plague. Your brand is probably precisely this.
- Stick with a known brand which has a track record in design and quality.
- Try the board before you buy it.
- Get a board which has support in the UK.

Wow, nice welcome!
The reason for the request is earnest - I'm not here for anything other than advice. Definitely not derision and suspicion!

I'm happy to admit I am relatively new to snowboarding. I was given a used Palmer by a good friend as encouragement to give it a try. I'm thinking that board is probably too advanced for my present ability so I've taken to using the Head branded boards at the Hemel Snow Centre. After a bit of web searching for Head boards the name Noomite regularly appears. They seem to be Italian based and I'm now wondering if they are I fact a retailer and not a snowboard brand. A lot of their boards seem to have Head logo'ing.
Anyone who might know more than this please impart.
Frankly were money no object I could easily choose a well known make but as stated I'm pretty new to this and the 'all the gear, no idea' tag doesn't really appeal.
Thanks
