Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Long weekend end of Jan '17

 Poster: A snowHead

Hey Guys, I have taken on the dubious task of organising a long weekend ski trip for the lads. We are all 40+ and convenience comes first. The plan is to fly out on a Thursday evening and get to resort. Ski/Board. Fri-Mon and fly home Monday evening. The group is a mix of strong intermediates Reds & Blacks through to more serious off piste advanced and a mix of first lifters and get up when you want.

Our local airports are Bristol or Heathrow.

We need a large ski region, close to the lifts (less than 5 mins walk) and a transfer time under 90 mins. Prefer to stay in hotels or careered chalets. Any ideas & recommendations on resorts/accommodation is gratefully received. Please not Chamonix as we did that this year and the bus transfers are a really faff.. and slowed down the volume we could get down....

Thanks in advance.

Morzine.

Catered chalet might be tricky for weekend but plenty of hotels and a couple of local chalet owners on here.

If I was you and liked the area idea, I'd repost asking for catered chalets in "xxx " and with your dates and it being a weeekend and all in the title...

Hi StinkingGoat

We do precisely what you've described above every year to Sauze d'Oulx. BA flight from LHR to Turin. 1hr transfer / car to the resort. We stay in the Hotel La Torre which has a private minibus that laps the resort permanently so whilst not 5 mins from the lifts, the minibus removes all walking. Lift access to 400 kms of piste.

PM me if you want more information

Thanks both. Catered Chalet in Morzine is probably the plan.
