Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ben's Bus / Group Transfers on New Year's Day?

Very specific query here - does anyone know if Ben's Bus or any of the other group transfer companies will be running from GVA to Meribel or Val Thorens on New Year's Day?

I booked the flights without really thinking of the logistics... If necessary I could hire a car, but I'd really prefer not to.

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I've tried contacting them via email and their FB page, but get the impression that they hibernate over the summer!

In most resorts and resort support related businesses during the season every day is just another day, if the planes are a laandin' then the transfer companies will be a transferrin'!

Hi PhilM, http://www.bensbus.co.uk/ here. I've asked the Geneva boys to confirm back to me if they will be operating on the 1st January. Certainly from Grenoble and Lyon Airports we will have services on that day. I hope this helps.

I've heard back from the Geneva boys and they do plan on operating on New Years Day. However, there is unlikely to be an early morning departure so it will depend on when your flight is. If you haven't already, you can sign up to our mail alerts via the pop up that appears on this page of our website http://www.bensbus.co.uk/geneva-airport-ski-transfer-questions/ . Then we can notify you as soon as we've finalised our timetables and prices for next year.
