@maggi, we're off to Obergurgl for the first time too, second week in Jan. Very restricted for dates next year so like you hoping for Obergurgl's snow-sure reputation to come through for us!

@maggi, we are thinking of the same week as you but we won't be as posh as you!  Are you doing Friday to Friday? The hotel we are trying to stay won't let us book a long weekend but want us to stay till 23rd, so we haven't made up our mind yet. Heard from friends that the Bergwelt is really nice and the food is fantastic! Fingers crossed with the snow in Dec!

@Snowy123, yes, Friday to Friday. OH's birthday is 17th so we didn't want to travel on that day and it also gives us a day to prepare for Christmas! I could get used to posh but it'll probably be back to Mountainsun in Tignes next year  .
