Yesterday a small airplane crashed on the Vallugabahn cable. Pilot died.
Airplane came from Zell am See, pilot remains unknown, but is no Austrian (...?)
Both gondola's were in the station at the moment of crash.
Unclear is whether the cable is damaged.

The British Millionaire-Hotel is the typical thing in Lech the last few years. Millionaires starting a hotel, as it is the only way to buy/own real-estate in Lech.
Hotel Aurelio by Oleg Deripaska, and the Chalet N by René Benko.
But this latest British 'start-up' is a bit sad actually, as it is in Stubenbach, least favorable part of Lech; not a 5***** location at all......

Folks it now October so we can begin to talk about the weather.
First off unusually there was no Snow during the summer (ony lasts a few hours)which quite often happens to peoples surprise.
There is going to be a drop in Temperature this week down to below 0C -1C in Town on Thursday rain.sleet Snow on the hill !!
But .. it will warm up again for newt weekend (Oct 8th) onwards .

@sah, Read some of the comments. Especially why it was costing €25M when something like that would normally be about €8M ..
