@ben.metherell, I found that I was really unfit at the start of the season and wanted to get fit for the next trip. I am not time rich but I have a rowing machine at home (that neatly folds up if you don't have the space). I would do 15 minutes of rowing when I get up on work days plus I would do a long row on the weekend. I would walk up and down the escalators on the tube when I went to work and I walked up and down the stairs to my floor in the office (only 3rd floor). It made a hell of a difference and my second ski trip 6 weeks later I could really tell the difference. I am trying to keep these little changes in my life to keep my fitness levels up and hopefully lose weight!).

 Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

For those with no time, how many static held or fast repetative lunges, squats, single-leg squats, calf raises, 1-leg balances, deadlift bends and all other kind of related exercises can you do whilst waiting for the kettle to boil, microwave to ping, toaster to pop, pan of spaghetti to boil - etc etc? Using kitchen worktop as balance aid is permitted. Hopping and jumping can be added if kitchen size and flooring permits. HIT 30 secs fast jog on spot to warm up, of course...
If no kitchen available, treat your teeth to a longer brushing session.

@Jonpim,

The added bonus of parking at the lonely end of the supermarket carparks, you don't then get kids throwing open the rear doors of tatty people carriers on to your pristine paintwork. wink

when I do that I can be sure to find a couple of tatty old wrecks parked to my car when I come out despite the whole car-park being empty at that end.
