Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

kitzbuhel ski buddy to give pointers

Poster: A snowHead
Hi travelling to Kitz with my friend and she wants to ski with an advanced skier that can give her pointers on advancing her technique on 4th March. She obviously could get lessons but that would only be for say an hour whereas she was hoping to ski with someone for say a morning. She has been skiing years and is a tidy/steady skier but is nervous about falling as she doesn't want a broken wrist cause she is a pro musician. She is a real laugh so whoever skied with her would have a giggle. Im a pretty good skier but I have to hold my hands up and admit my technique is prob not text book so would prob end up giving her bad habits!

I think what your friend needs is a private lesson - most ski schools are flexible and most private lessons are for a few hours at a time. Seriously, it is a much better idea that relying on "tips" from an amateur, no matter how good a skier they are. And frankly that sort of expertise is worthy of payment.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@mtb betty, wot @zikomo said. A few hours with a good private instructor works wonders.
