Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

if they do not have a work permit for either the UK or France then they are probably breaking immigration law.

True if that was the case. But the reports say "charges were brought .. on the basis of the BSA's employment of two (allegedly) unqualified coaches" - nothing about any incorrect immigration status.

The French are on self destruct. How does this help in anyway? A declining ski industry needs this like a hole in the head. Les Houches and Chamonix need it even less! All the kids from now on who go through the British school will build a loyalty to Italy not France or Chamonix. Les Houches and Chamonix lose all the bookings in chalets, hotels, restaurants and shopping! Simply mad! Having owned a place in Chamonix for 10+ years it's time to think of selling up and going elsehwere. Hollande and his crazy bunch of merry tax hunters have royally screwee foreigners (I wouldn't mind if I was evading it!) Do I sound jaded? Yep and this kind of behaviour doesn't help!

@Alastair Pink, boris and his mates must be loving the news regarding the fuel dispute with just a few weeks before the vote!!!

bloody typical of my luck, I am off to le mans in a few weeks for a boys jolly looks like I might be stocking up on diesel in large jerry cans this side of the channel instead of beer and wine on the other side on the way down (if not settled), though the organisers of the races might have to resort to pedal power or electric race cars!!

last summer we got caught up in the farmers dispute with all the motorways around Brittany/Normandy and some supermarkets blocked, and in march was delayed by air traffic control strike coming back from skiing.

Because strikes or blockades could never lead to dry petrol stations on this side of the channel, could they?
