Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski School in Pas de la Casa

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Anyone know which day the group lessons start? In French resorts that operate Sat-Sat they start on a Sunday. Pas seems to operate via tour operators that book Sun-Sun. If that is the case do the group lessons go Mon-Sat or Sun-Fri?
Secondly anyone know how to actually get them to acknowledge you? I've sent 2 emails to them and had no reply. I don't like the idea of phoning but equally it's important that some of my party have lessons.
Any ideas?

I was there last year and am pretty sure my memory is correct that the lessons ran Sun-Friday as we all had a full day together on the last day of the ski pass. Please don't take this as 100% though.

I wasn't in ski school was but my girlfriend was and she was extremely impressed with the quality of her lessons and the instruction compared to that experienced in France the year before.

Have a good break!

Hi

I did lessons there a couple of years ago and as far as I remember you only got 5 days worth of lessons which were Mon - Fri, the beginners start at 9 and intermediates start at 1pm.

Have fun!

I can echo wonderwoman, that the lessons are AM for beginners and PM for intermediates, which can be rather annoying for mixed ability groups Evil or Very Mad

Have you considered private lessons? The ski school in Pas only charges €40 per hour for 2 people (€37 for 1 person I think), which is a hell of a lot cheaper than you will find in most other resorts / countries.

If you are booking the lessons yourself in resort they can be booked at the ski school offices next to the main lift pass office at the bottom of the mountain, remember you will need photographic ID to pay by credit card.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks all. There are mixed abilities in our party of 8 so private lessons probably aren't an option. We'll book when we are there.
