Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi Everyone

I am from Singapore and going to Spain first time. Gonna try skiing lessons at Pradollano on Dec 10-13. We are absolute beginners so like some advice.

a) Is this a suitable time, are there sufficient snow for lessons
b) Is it worth staying 3 days if there are not enough snow.
b) Are the chairlifts working this time of year
c) Should we at this time of view better off staying at Pradollano or Granada

Thanks for all the tips everyone !

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Sierra Nevada ski resort in Spain opened this weekend (Nov 28th), with about 5% of the lifts and pistes available.

Best guess is 10-30% of the slopes will be open by mid-Dec. On a mix of real and artifical snow. Should be plenty for absolute beginners.

Stay in Pradollano. Get as high up the mountain as possible for early season.

Wear lots of layered clothes. Going from hot Singapore to freezing Spain will be a shock to the system.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thank you for your tips!

When you say get high up in mountain you meant stay high up at Borreguiles? Or should I stay at Monochil
