Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I've lost my Oakley Half Jackets. Sad Sad Sad Sad I liked them but I did have misting issues when I used them while skiing of I was running a bit hot. The easy thing to do is to replace them with another pair but before I do I thought I'd get the views of fellow snowHead on what they use.

oakley jawbones ,misting is largely solved by using oakley nano-clear hydrophobic cleaner

$10 from any "gas" station in Canada. Or at Heathrow I doubt you can get any for less than £100.

Pay money, make choice. They're all the same in my opinion.

I am a massive fan of Oakleys for skiing, especially with interchangeable, low light, lenses. I have a couple of pairs of Flak Jackets and never usually find misting a problem even if it's blasting it down with snow. I lost a Livestrong pair about three years ago, an expensive business but given Lance's fall from grace may be not a bad thing.

Have a look at the Julbo range, they make some great photochromic lenses. Zebra Light is superb in low light, from category 1 all the way to cat 3 (1-3). If your eyes are more light sensitive, then Zebra (2-4) should do the job.

Most of their lenses are hydrophobic, oleophobic and anti-fog. The clarity of the lenses is amazing.
For what they are, they represent decent value for money.

Highly recommended.

Worth checking out the adidas outdoor range like the tycane outdoor pro or terrex fast, Julbo and Bolle as well as of Oakley. I've put together a sunglasses skiing guide which you may find useful too

Oakley Jupiters - rare that I ski in them instead of my goggles but they're ace.

If you're after a (much) cheaper pair though, I can highly, highly recommend 'Glassy Sun Haters' - dirt cheap, and properly nice; I use them day to day on outside event work because they're cheap to replace and have found myself wearing them more than my Oakleys for 'best'...
