The predicted snowfall for 31/12 of 5-10 cm turns out in 1-2 cm.

Last night 30 cm fresh snow. Hardly no new snow during daytime. Clouded, mist and flat light. At 3000 meter -11 degrees and wind. But during a short period in the morning and afternoon small openings in the cloud cover. Big bumps on the pistes.

Only a few hours sunshine in the beginning of the morning. The rest of the day increasing clouds and some snowfall in the evening.

Tough conditions today, flat light and quite windy in the exposed high areas of VT. Fresh snow, maybe 20cm's worth spread all over the piste into soft moguls. Visibility varied, on the high runs sometimes reduced to a metre or so.
Lift station temperatures reporting between 2 degrees C and 5m haven't seen a minus sign all day. Meribel and Orelle links closed whenever i went past one of their lifts could well have been all day. Winds don't look to be improving for the rest of the week at 3000+ so might be closed all week.

Light snowfall during the day and at the end of the afternoon some blue spots. Bad visibility and cold, far below -10 degrees.

Grey day with flat light, but less cold than yesterday. Opening of the new red piste la Chasse was postponed until tomorrow. Signs along Bvd Echaud are uncovered now.

@123_456, have you skied the new La Chasse piste yet? Looks like it opens up quite a good route variant to avoid the chaos of VT central.
