@kitenski, I doubt it will have much impact (maybe some more meetings over the year, that can be handled) as its not being built this summer anyway.
Basically Lech am Arlberg Führer{s) have given the project there blessing so it willl HAPPEN my normally reliable sources say construction summer 2016.

@stanton, Any more photos of the new Gampen restaurant progress? Is there a link for this webcam? I'm sad and like to occasionally look at progress on Austrian construction, I'm in the construction industry in UK and it never ceases to amaze me how quick and well planned the construction is (even if they do appear to cut a few corners on safety!)

Projekt Dias (€45M) -----Decision this summer 
Lift Ski Connection Kappl-St. Anton
Since the last meeting in St Anton in June 2014 The Arlberger Bergbahnen had commissioned new compensatory measures to the plan and submited. This has now happened.
Last Friday there was a Second Hearing in Innsbruck & now the State of Tirol will make a decision this Summer !!
The CEO of Arlberger Bergbahnen AG said he anticipates possible further objections but is confident now that a positive decision will be made by the State over the summer. He also said they would not of gone this far or put so much effort in if they thought the decision would go against.

I personally hope they reject Kappl-St Anton link, really don't want Malfontal spoilt......this is a beautiful place, a real wilderness.

Kappl needs the link. St Anton does not

unbelievable. Can only mean one thing lift prices going up.

Where is the Vaya resort located. It sort of looks like it is above or east of Ost Terminal but hard to tell for sure. What is sure, IMHO, is that StA does not need another mega-hotel.

The Tyrolean Environmental Ombudsman wants to make further major objections to the current project including a re-route of the Gondolas (Deputy environmental lawyer Walter Tschon)
Personally at this late stage I doubt that will happen, The Arlbergerbahnen have bent over backwards to the wishes of the UVP.
The Final Decision is expected next Month (August)
