Hi, We've never been skiing before but have been very lucky to have won a trip skiing, I'm trying to find a cheap way of hiring the ski equipment, so really need your help, any advise would be really appreciated

@calash, Welcome to Snow Heads How lucky are YOU! Where are you going and when? Will you be in lessons? You can take a look at www.snowbrainer.com - I use this myself and have always found the equipment to be fine - you do need to know where you're staying in order to work out which shop is the most convenient. Come back here if you get stuck

Also check out skimium.com - I've always found them the cheapest of all the places. They've just sent out a 10% end of season discount code too - you also get an additional discount if you have a decathlon card.
(FWIW, just checked, and my booking for five sets of equipment is 200€ at skimium, and 279€ at snow brainier !)

Wow...that is a real old fashioned (in the meaning of long established, refined) 5 star hotel.
One of the finest in the world!
Nice win!

Lucky git! Certainly doesn't sound like a budget prise either.
Are you having lessons as well as your kids? With just 3 days away, you'd all probably benefit from the head start some beginers lessons (at an indoor center) would give before you go.
Are you sorted with clothing? There's still some gear in stock at Aldi.

I've found that who is cheapest tends to vary from resort to resort so always worth tryin several. In St Anton AlpinResorts came in best in Belle Plagne snowbrainer.
