Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Try France's L'Espace Lumiere for a magical skiing experience

Came back yesterday from a simply great week at Chalet Vallons in Le Seignus in the Southern Alps L'Espace Lumiere. If you're fed up with the usual tourist hot spots and want a skiing experience in a charming French village which is also linked by a short navette ride to an impressive number of kilometers in La Foux and Pra Loup, look no further than www.chalet-ski.co.uk for further details.
Ben and Catherine will go to great lengths to ensure you have a trip to remember for all the right reasons. The weather was fantastic for us, the snow was good and the skiing fabulous. The added bonus is the plentiful availability of cheap flight options to Nice and then only a two hour and a bit transfer time in Ben's minivan. This meant that although we'd only booked for a week, we arrived early enough to get an afternoon in on our first day and a whole extra day at the end of the week as our flight home wasn't until 9.40 p.m. If you're quick you may be able to discover this little gem this season. Highly recommended.

Hi Frostie, we went with our two teenage children (son 13 and daughter 16). We are all intermediate skiiers and by alternating days at Le Seignus with days at La Foux/Pra Loup we found the pistes varied and interesting. It's a bit of a hike to get over to Pra Loup but well worth it. The lift system in general is a bit slow and has a high number of drags which could possibly lead to queues during high season but when we were there wasn't a problem as there were hardly any people about. The area is very French with hardly any other English people there which we found very refreshing. Chalet Vallons is right on the piste side and the owners are very helpful and couldn't do enough for us - including translating in the nearby ski hire shop. Ski hire and lift passes are significantly cheaper than other better known French resorts we have been to. If you have any other specific questions we'd be happy to try and answer for you.
