Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone stayed here?

Booked to go there in March so just wondering what the chalet hosts were like! [/b]

Stayed there with crystal in 1998 so not really relevant, chalet was reasonably comfortable and spacious but it's at the top of a little hill which made getting the bags in hard work.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We stayed there at Xmas, and had Sophie and Tom looking after us, they were young and eager to please, but it was their first week with guests.
Rooms really spacious, and clean and warm, we were in room3 in the eaves. We had a lovely view of the slopes through the French door in the corner of the room.
The slope to the chalet is steep, and we have bought anti slip covers for the bottom of our ski boots as it was tricky walking down to the Costabella lift, a couple of minutes away, even though there were only small ice patches to negotiate. (The wife did fall returning to the chalet).
The chalet hosts had use of a car and were waiting as our coach arrived and took our cases up the hill, which made our arrival a lot easier.
We enjoyed our stay very much, and are back at February half term Very Happy

Thanks for replies, good to hear some feedback from this season.

Hopefully the chalet hosts won't have lost all their enthusiasm by third week in March!

Never been to a chalet before as always thought hotels are a safer bet food wise! Very Happy

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Salvan is a Crystal operated gaff. V handy for Costa Bella lift and La Stua Apres. The path down is a double black however, I saw a fella and his wife really battling to get down it safely two weeks ago. Confused
