Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking for some advice on new skiis $500

Hi all, new to forum, and looking for some advice. Looking to spend about $500 to $600 (with bindings), and have no problem buying last years models.

I am 6'2 , 205 pounds , expert skier

Ive skied on Salomon X Screams 180 cm I bought 11 years ago, when I was 18.

I do ski some blue groomers but hoping that a newer ski would help improve my experience on mogul'd black / dbl black trails. If I were to have a complaint about anything, its that I do have trouble doing quick turns on steep, mogul'd terrain and my legs get worn out pretty quick. I realize that a lot of this is being in good skiing shape and I'm older and 20 lbs heavier (than when I skied a ton in college), but I figure this may be useful info in selecting a ski. I've heard talk from people that say new tech. makes a shorter ski more suitable, long story but I had to ski on 170s this year and really did not enjoy the feel of a shorter ski; so I am leaning more towards a 178-180 range ski (180 goes to my mouth).

Please advise, any deals on websites or upcoming deals would be appreciated to!
