Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chillfactore cancellation policy

Evening folks

I've read the T&Cs which are clear in that CFe don't permit refunds under any circumstances. My other half, who was due to have an improver's day lesson on Friday, has suffered an injury which is going to put her out of action for the season (irritating with a holiday coming up in March!) and probably dissuade her from picking up skiing for some time. Even though I can give CFe 5 days' notice of the need to cancel, and thus technically I should be able to rearrange, I simply don't think she'll be able to rearrange at any point in the near to medium-term future.

Has anyone experienced anything akin to goodwill from the folks at CFe in such circumstances? Losing £100 for nothing is a bitter pill to swallow.

Many thanks

A.

@Astraeus, When I dealt with them late last year over an internet booking for a 1 day course that had gone wrong, the booking that is, and to be honest it was difficult to tell whether it was my fault or theirs, they were very accommodating and helpful. It did not involve a refund, just the type of course changing, but definitely when I spoke to them over the phone it was sorted pretty well instantly. It was one of their bargain offers as well so you could say that they had more reason to be uncooperative, but they were the opposite.

@Astraeus, Early last year we took our kids down for a taster session before our trip out to La Tania.

Through the night, our youngest ended up vomitting every 20 mins until 6 in the morning. Suffice to say he never made it and neither did my wife for her general muck about on the slope.

They couldn't have been more helpful at the Chill Factore, Issuing vouchers for the full amount of the taster session and the 2 hour lift pass, without any query and that was on the day.

The vouchers did have a 6 month expiry on them but I don't think they were limited to the original booking, so could be used for any activity there. (Glad I checked my coat pocket, where I'd put them on the day, two weeks before they were due to run out. 😁)

i easily re-booked a session that i'd booked on line, just rang up and they changed it, confirmed the new booking number by adding a number on the end, great service
