Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

WANTED: Off piste Guide for VAL THORNES

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi guys,

Two of us are heading out to VT for a week 31st Jan-7th feb.

We have skiied VT and the rest of the 3V to death over the past 15ish years so really know our way around...

BUT

Apart from stuff you can traverse to off the side of the piste, we have not done any proper off piste skiing, we've heard there are some areas you can hike to around the oreille area, similarly off the back of caron. But unless you know where you're going the risk of a very long hike is quite real if you make a mistake!

We are both 23, good skiers, have done seasons in Canada and own our own avi gear.

Looking for someone that speaks good English to take us charging for the week! Pistes considered A-B, happy to ski chopped up stuff if there isn't a fresh layer. Looking for chutes, drops, spines and all sorts of nasty stuff.

Happy to Hike, Beers and obviously $$$ included. Please let me know if you are interested / know anyone that would do this!

Thanks,

Charlie

Found a few guys that are looking for $400+ per day which is way too much for 2 of us! And I have bought the book, thank you Altis!

But im still looking for someone who knows where theyre going, can identify ares of windswept snow, dig snow pits and generally know the risks of the areas we want to be eploring.

Any help appreciated!

€400 a day seems about the norm these days.

Cheapest guided option I can think of is:
