Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I've just picked up some skis and bindings for a friend. The dynafit radical speeds have an anti twist lump of plastic that stops the heel twisting clockwise more than a few degrees. Now there is a swing ticket and embossed on the top of the heel an instruction to turn the heel unit only in a clockwise direction which can't be done.
I have searched online and the general opinion is that this twice repeated instruction should be ignored. And the heel needs to be turned anticlockwise to shift from ski mode to walk mode and clockwise back again. It seems strange that dynafit should have gone to such lengths to discourage the skier from doing what is the normal operation.

@Haggis_Trap
, thanks I had seen that, these are 2015 models which have been modified but they seem to have forgotten too remove the swing ticket and arrow
They were beautifully mounted by a tech in cham so I didn't think the friend had anything to worry about, I just picked them up for him.
Thinking of getting some!! Sooo light.
After all it is free

That link's waaay out of date as the internal pin was replaced with an anti-rotation stop on the brake lever of the Rad ST/FT from 2012 bindings onwards.
