Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Passo Tonale & Skirama

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All! Off to Passo Tonale in January with a few friends and we're considering whether it's going to be best to get an Adamello area ski pass or a full on Superskirama pass. We're all fairly advanced (black runs, off-piste, etc) and are reasonably adept at covering a lot of ground so the concern is that an Adamello pass won't be big enough.

Does anyone have any experience of how easy it is to get from Passo Tonale into the Superskirama area and onto the Carousel? I.e. Is there a regular ski bus out or would we have to organise taxis? I've been having a looky-see round the web but haven't found much...

honestly i dont know about bus or taxi.
I had my car 4 years ago.
We want from Madonna to Folgarida, and then to Passo...but i think the distance from Folgarida to Passo is maybe 30 min....

There was a bus between Passo Tonale and Madonna when I went there in 2006.

Yes, there is a service bus between Passo and Madonna more or less right to the gondola. From recollection takes 30 to 45 minutes and not expensive. We ended up going there on quite a few days. Check times of last bus back and exact location where you board at Madonna, it's not where you alight.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

me and my friend are just average intermediate skiers, and we skied all the runs in passo tonale in 4 hours, the link to ponte di legno is useful and thats where the better skiing is, we went with crystal and they organised a day trip to madonna which was well worthwhile, if your looking to cover a lot of ground i would get the superskirama pass, providing there is transport and of course enough snow.

Thanks for all your responses everyone! Looks like we'll be getting up extra early to catch the first bus a few times...
