Hi I'm chris, male late forties, good intermediate/advanced skier. I have a few weeks off in December so looking for cancelations or last minute deals. More than happy to join a group or share.
Easy going and good company, likes good food and a few beers and of course good skiing.

Hi Gingernutz,
If you don't mind doing the travelling bit alone then we have some spaces in our Chalet Genepi for 13th - 20th December.
They're on sale down to £299pp fully catered and there's no single supplement for solo skiiers.
Already got a small group, a couple and another solo skiier booked in so it looks to be a nice sociable week . . .

Yes we do. 5th - 12th April in Chalet Campanules or 12th - 19th and 19th - 26th April in Genepi or Bon Vie are all no single supplement.

I'm going to Tignes (Val Claret) on 6 December with the Ski Mad Club:

It's self-catering with flights from Luton or Gatwick and transfers included. They have both sizes of apartment still available.
Last year was my first time and I had a small apartment to myself. This year I'm sharing a large apartment with one other guy.
They're a great, friendly group and the location is excellent.

Hi,
I saw your ad for a skiing buddy, and I am a solo skier looking to join a group also.
Wondered if you found anything yet, and whether there may be room for one more please?!
I am a 28 y/o male teacher, laid back and happy to ski whatever.
Looking to go for 5-7 days form the 22nd onwards, and need to be back for the 5th Jan.

Sadly I've not found anything yet but not given hope however I'm still keeping my options open as you never know. I'm off skiing in Jan anyway to Austria so I'll get a fix then.
It's still early season and I think most resorts haven't had much snow yet anyway, I think you might be pushing it a bit with trying to get a week over Christmas/new year!!

Hi
Just been following this thread and checked on the flights to la plagne this weekend. From Manchester with Monarch it's £200 ish return including board and 23kg luggage to Grenoble.
Just wondered if anyone know's if the snow is worth going for at this time,as I want to make a decision tomorrow. first hand knowledge is always best.
PS Iam and intermediate old fart boarder , mental age 12
