Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfer to Tignes 30th November- looking to share

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi,

We're travelling to Tignes on 30th November which was meant to be a cheap early season week- until I booked flights and now all I can get is a private transfer to get to resort at a cost of €600!

The only shared transfer I have seen is with Altibus, but the only one on that day leaves at 15.30 and our flight from 'london' Southend doesn't land until 15.45.

Does anyone know of any other shared transfers running that day? Ben's bus isn't running. Or is anyone else in the same boat and would like to share a private transfer?

Thanks![/code]

Where from? Geneva has a decent coach service I've used to get to Bourg a couple of times which also goes to Tignes IIRC. Bourg is E110 return I think

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Lovessnoow, I think the trouble is the time on Sunday in pre-season. I'm also traveling from Geneva to Tignes that day, and I wanted to take a later flight from Luton, but couldn't find a transfer so am instead going from Heathrow first thing in the morning.

Have you asked your accommodation provider if they run transfers/know of any other options?

There are a few Tignes based operators who are quite busy at that time of year because of the lack of Altibuses/Bens Buses. Try Snowstar, Mountain Rides or Tignes.co.uk by e mail. If no luck there try the Bourg based coolbus.

By the way €600 is a lot of money but its not expensive for what you are asking.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I have booked a transfer with a taxi company for €360- if anyone fancies sharing the transfer with my boyfriend and I let me know... it leaves around 16:00, from Geneva airport to Tignes.
