Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

There's a whole host of other skis out there that will be of a similar construction.

What you're looking for would be around 76mm underfoot and a 14-15m radius. Ideally go for something that has a full wood core which will be similar again to the Atomics

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

A number of the online ski rental places will let you reserve a specific ski. It's not a 100% guarantee but take the paperwork and be prepared to press the point as we've had them just try to throw the closest set of skis at us, but when pressed they took the walk to the back of the shop and appeared with pairs of skis with out names on them!

Alternatively just leave it till you get to the resort and pay the walk-in price. More expensive but leaves you free to walk in to each of the resorts hire places asking "Do you have any X?". If the closest/TO partner shop doesn't stock them chances are you'll find one that does.

If you can't find anyone who stocks them you can always tell them the skis you liked and asked for something similar - and remember if you've gone for one of the more expensive hire packages most hire shops will be happy for you to go back after a couple of days and swap if you're not getting on with the pair you have.

Or do what I did when I hired a pair of skis that I just clicked with - buy a pair and take them with you.
