Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Can it be done guys, or girls. Can you ski from the top of the grattalu lift down pistes grattalu, Lac and anemone non stop into La Chavet. I'm looking at the piste map but I can't remember the bit between the bottom of Merles and the top of Chardonnet, is it uphill or downhill. Just trying to plan some easy routes back for the missus.

Coco, I have no idea where you mean by La Chavet.

There are arrows shown on my piste map to indicate that it is downhill from the top of Chardonnet to the bottom of Merles, you need to go up Grand Huit to get back to Le Lac.

No!

As rjs said you need to go up the Grand Huit to get to the top of anemone (or you could push for about 200m of gentle uphill!!). From there you can ski down into Le Lac from where you need the Rosset Village chair to get you high enough up the to ski down the track into Lavachet or if you are in the lower part you can push along the Passerelle by the side of the Maison de Tignes to get to the Les Rives bus stop (the lowest bit of Lavachet).
