Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Geneva Airport to Morzine

Poster: A snowHead
Hi all thinking of having a sneaky three day break in early January and sleazy have some cheap flights to Geneva. Been to Morzine before and really enjoyed it. Does anyone know the approx cost in a Taxi from the Airport to Morzine? Barring that is there cheap regular public transport available? Thank you all so much in advance

There are quite a few transfer companies that run from the airport - Skiidy Gonzales www.skiidygonzales.com, Ski Lifts www.ski-lifts.com Ski Transfers www.skitransfers.com

They will be much more economical than taking a taxi. There are also buses that run from the airport www.altibus.com - I think you book that also in advance. The transfer companies will of course deliver you to your accommodation.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Also Morzine express, powdercab, alpybus, snowdrops... there are literally dozens of firms doing this, all for around thirty quid a person each way. A Geneva taxi would cost more than everything else for the entire weekend rolled together.

Having done this quite a few times, you are better off with a transfer company than anything else. You can book various different ones at different prices depending on how long you are willing to risk waiting for others. Ski Lifts is one I have used alot and were very good. Another one I found last year by recommendation was Haute Savoie transfers - www.hs-transfers.com - best I have used so far...
