Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi
Does anyone recommend a ski hire shop for beginners/intermediate in Les Gets, ease of access to lifts is a pretty high priority.

There are loads immediately opposite the bottom of the Piste/Lifts on the Route du Front de neige

Ski republic have a store in Les Gets just along from the ski school on the main street. They often do 2 for 1 on ski hire....

Skimium (or however you spell it) have one just had the bottom of the lifts. We pre booked really early online and got discount plus they give you a further 5% if you have a decathlon card. In fact, we looked last night for our hire in Jan in ADH and they've opened up booking for 14/15 season.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The skimium store right by front de neige is quite small, but they will let you store your skis with them overnight. There are several others in that immediate vicinity too. Shop around for that great deal, but the skimium kit i hired was fine.
