Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Where to find Junior (U16) Rossignol or Dynastar GS skis 170 to 175cm

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
My daughter (13, will be 14 by next season) needs some new GS skis, as her current Rossi GS WC Radicals are too short at 160cm as we have discovered this summer skiing

Looking for some Rossignol Radical WC GS FIS Racing with the r20 Ibox plate in 170 cm or preferably 175cm

or

Dynastar Speed Course R20 plate WC racing in 170cm or 175cm

I can't really afford the new rossi hero version, so looking for last seasons or before if possible

Would prefer new, bindings not important as they seem easy to get and the old ones will fit ok if needed, but the only place i can seem to find these skis is in Canada on ebay!

Anyone know of any sources of such skis in Europe / UK??

Thanks

Going from 160 to 175 is a big step. Not only in terms of length but also in radius and stiffness. Try to get a cheap second had pair in 167 or 170 as a stepping stone to the 175s.

spyderjon, Thank you, could you give me a price by a PM? Thanks

hyperkub, Yes i know its a big step, but she has grown out of the 160's rapidly and is very determined to go to a 175.

scooby_simon, I will try ski bartlett, had looked at the website but all too short, so will send an email.

rjs, 132lbs (60 kg) and is 5 foot 5 , does competition swimming when not skiing and is a butterfly specialist, so rather strong (when she wants to be!)

One issue is she has really tiny feet (22 boot) so has to be forward from the centre mark, hence rossi or dynastar , the ibox plate seems to work as has enough holes to cope without moving the plate forward on the ski. Her new SL skis are rossi as well in 150cm.

legue, OK, that is just within the suggested weight range for the 175cm ones.

My one thought about looking for older skis is that the design of the FIS skis has changed a lot each year since the new regulations were introduced, I have a feeling that the junior skis lagged behind in development at first.
