@Weathercam, as discussed elsewhere, you only have 28.9 degrees inside the casing of your weather station sensor. Ambient will feel warmer than it actually is as your clothes and skin absorb the direct radiation. Your sensor needs to be out of the sun and away from any other heat sources for a reason...

@under a new name, that's why I said it was in the "direct sunlight" usually the sensor lives under the eaves in the shade - that little thermometer next to it is the one I used for snow analysis when digging pits as it comes out of the red casing and looks much like the type of thermometer you use when cooking.

Not only in French Alps. Worst summer on record in Switzerland too. Fingers crossed nature won't "compensate" us for wet summer with dry winter.
