Very understandable decision. Huge respect for Chemmy. Met her once at Hemel.... for about a nano second and she was humble and delightful.

Similarly understandable and also huge respect. A shame, none-the-less - after her Olympic exploits and sheer determination, it would have been intriguing to see her do one more season.

Not unexpected, fiqured she would quit racing after this years Olympics, very ballsy lady I think few of us would take the number of injuries she has and still carry on

Considering her injuries in recent years, to go to Sochi and do as well as she did was fantastic. A true inspiration to the young skiers of today. Wishing her well.

Chemmy is a good egg, the kids and I have met her several times and also had the privilege to ski with her at HH. I am not surprised at her decision, but we wish her well in what she does next and I hope that she stays with the sport and perhaps goes on to influence the next generation as she mentions in her video. Onward and upward Chemmy
