Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Zermatt ski shop for atomic skis...

Can anyone recommend a ski shop in Zermatt that rents Atomic skis especially hoping to rent a pair of M11's. I don't want to have to carry mine from the States if I can avoid it. Thanks!

Hi, Flexrent at the Sunnega base station might be worth a try. My husband had a great pair of Atomics from them when we were there last - 2 years ago. They are a great place to rent from as they will store and move overnight from one base station to another if you tell them where you are planning to start the next morning! It's a fab service! Anyway you can try and contact them www.flexrent.ch.

by the way, I found them at Julen Sports next to Vernissage accross from the ice hockey field.

Also Dorsaz sport at the bottom of the Klein Lift have them in, and also have a deal with Flexrent opposite the sunnegga lift so they will transport your skis and boots to the other lift overnight etc.

Very handy service and saves you walking in boots with skis to the lifts
