Finish work at 1am (I started at 8:30 this morning), then off home to pack and off to Edinburgh Airport for 4am for a 6:20 flight to Geneva and a week in La Plagne. Can't wait!

It was only a tongue in cheek quip. It was the vision of finishing work at 1a.m. and getting up at 4 a.m. that spooked me - not sure I could do that, have a great trip

I know, don't worry! I won't be getting up, I'll just stay up and hopefully catch enough sleep on the flight and transfer bus to get me through the rest of the day, which will hopefully be spent watching some football in the pub in resort before dinner and an early night. Due to my work/sleep pattern I'm usually fully functional on 4 hours sleep anyway.

I'm off to meribel Sunday. Looks like it might be snowing when I arrive. Just need to recover from jetlag and a13.5hour flight with a constantly screaming baby 2 rows ahead of me first. Currently in my London hotel room unable to sleep at 3am.
