Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfer, Innsbruck airport to Mayrhofen

Can anyone give me advice on ground transportation from the Innsbruck airport to Mayrhofen. I'm arriving in Innsbruck on Saturday morning and would like to know the quickest/easist way to get there. I've been told that there's a direct bus from the airport but I can't get any info on it. Otherwise it looks like taxi or bus to the train station and then train or bus from there. My final destination is Lanersbach. I'm guessing that there's a local bus up the Tuxertal from Mayrhofen. Any local knowledge would be appreciated.

Hi Choucas, welcome to snowHeads! snowHead

Although I've flown into Innsbruck, I can't help you with your query. You could try making an offer to a tour company rep...not something I've tried myself.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Try this link for resort and this for rail.

According to the OBB internet site, Bus 4104 links Mayrhofen and Lanersbach - Hinteranger.

Route is Mayrhofen to Jenbach to Lanersback (2 changes).

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to minimize the number of changes...dragging my gear around bus/train stations, etc. The joys of ski travel!
