Poster: A snowHead
Hi, I have two wonderful little girls 4,9
I am separated from their mother after 10 years togther. We have since day one always gone skiing as a family.
I want to continue taking my girls and I will ,
However we all know it is difficult with children.
Especially on your own.

If miracles happen and their is likeminded
Female skier with children who also would like some help and to be able to ski together while one of my kids is at ski school please message me.

I also don’t mind if there is another guy out there in the same situation as me. We could team up.

I am 34, Nice family first guy, run my own business,
Love quality drinks in moderation, not interested in partying but love socialising.
I good skier, nothing I can not tackle.
But prefer and enjoy, Chiled out skiing exploring mountain restaurants ect.

I prefer to drive even to Austria. But I am willing to fly if you prefer.
If we drive I can only take one adult and child.

I am also not against paying travel and hotel for all as I would have to pay if on my own anyway.
You sort out your pass’s ect.

Esprit do single parent deals for the less nice rooms. I recently booked la rosiere for about £1000 for the two of us. Some of the chalets/ hotels have a few single parent rooms, for 2 or 3 people. It's quite likely there would be another single parent to meet, without the pressure of actually holidaying together.

Whilst I'm not a single parent, my wife refuses to ski. For the last couple of years I've taken my son with Esprit and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Esprit is really well set up and caters for your kids needs first as well as your own. The advantage I see with esprit is the social aspect for the kids and if they're happy you're happy and your life as a parent is MUCH easier.

we are a family of 4 but as above with a non skiing mum & I can see your issue, I guess your 9 year old is a faar better skier and doesn't want to hang about & support the 4 year old, that not how brother/sister work.
just good to see your sticking with it

Another +1 to consider Esprit we met several people there who were an adult alone with children (for numerous reasons) and there support makes it much easier to manager.

Best of luck finding like minded people to travel with.

yet another +1 for Esprit- especially last minute single parent specials.

I've used them with my first two kids when Mrs ed was pregnant as a 'single parent' and we used Esprit a lot as a whole family. Ideal for you as there will always be other adults with your family first mentality as well as other kids for your kids to socialise with as well as great staff.

The only caveat is to try and go to a Chalet Hotel rather than a Chalet (food better in Chalet Hotels) or, failing that go to a very large Chalet. That said I think we have always had like minded fellow guests on Esprit holidays.

One other suggestion is to look at Mountain Sun- although not a specialist kids operator very kid friendly and great value for money.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@Npt1, Snowheads Family Bash / pre-EoSB would also be an option, if it runs again this year. Lots of like-minded adults with kids, and worked well for us (me + daughter) two years ago. Plenty of social, and help with the skiing.

Not been for a few years but can also vote for Esprit as my wife didn't ski I went with my daughter for 7 years on the trot and we both had a great time. The Esprit model gives you space when you need it and family time when you don't and I always found people to ski with.
