Obergurgl/Soelden -Powder tuition

 Poster: A snowHead

I want to get to grips with skiing powder/ off piste January next season and was looking at these resorts. They are snow sure and also have a range of ski routes, so as I don't need all the avi gear etc. I was hoping to hire some fat skis and gain some tuition. Any advice on to go about it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: powder, should be a perfect choice IMHO. We had an amazing december.
There is a shared skipass and the buses between them are frequent and free. Amazingly precise traffic. Soelden has a much larger base with 2 different acccess lifts, evth is connected
Pay attention to the ski rental prices, to me it was more expensive than in the french alps
