Kilted skiers set a world record on Cairngorm Mountain [Andrew Smith]
Hundreds of people wearing kilts took to the slopes in the Cairngorms to set a new world record. In all, 235 skiers and snowboarders descended in a line from the Ptarmigan Top Station on Cairngorm Mountain near Aviemore to the bottom, where pipers led them across the line.
...The event also raised money for Maggie's Highland cancer charity, based at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, and the Badenoch & Strathspey Schools Skiing Programme.
